Night before last I made pork chops, mashed potatoes, stuffing and green beans. Yummy. Comfort food. My pork chops tasted wonderful, but they were a bit tough. I just sauteed them in a bit of oil after seasoning them. It’s the only way I’ve ever cooked them (we don’t have them often). I need to find some new recipes.
The night before that, I had just gotten home from a road trip, and I was hot and tired. So I served Krab-with-a-K, shrimp, zesty cocktail sauce, that bread you get at the grocery store all hot and yummy, butter, and a caesar salad. It was wonderful.
Tomorrow I’ve got to bake a pineapple upside-down cake for the once-a-month class I go to. We always bring potluck for lunch, since the class runs all day. I think I should bake two, so there’s some here, too, but then again, I’m the only one in the family who likes it. Yes, they are a strange bunch of kids.
